Cabinet side brackets used to mount the top cabinet to the bottom one. This bracket was used on the Hoosier cabinet. Side clearance for sliding porcelain counter top is 1/4″.
The imagery and borders appear to be factory-applied decorative work—likely stenciled and/or transfer/printed decoration with hand-applied color washes/faux graining, sealed under an aged clear coat.
